Two helms have been returned to St George's Chapel, having been cleaned and conserved by the Royal Collection armourer.
St George’s Chapel and the Dean’s Cloister (at the exit from the Chapel) will house two very different exhibitions during the latter part of September and into October.
A 'Songs of Praise' programme recorded earlier in the year in St George's Chapel will be broadcast on BBC1 on Sunday 13 September. Two programmes were recorded at the time; the first was broadcast in April and focused on Windsor Castle and the College of St George; this second programme takes a look at the local area but, for each hymn, returns to St George’s Chapel.
The education service at Windsor Castle has been awarded a Sandford Award for Heritage Education. The award is an annual, non-competitive scheme which recognises quality and excellence in educational services and facilities at historical and cultural sites in the UK and Ireland including historic houses, museums, galleries, places of worship and gardens.
Panis Angelicus - A concert featuring the Choristers of St George's Chapel, with Timothy Byram-Wigfield (Organ/Director) which was postponed on 1 July has now been rescheduled for Wednesday 16 September at Windsor Parish Church of St John the Baptist.
With the start of the Choir's summer holiday, most of the services until Saturday 5 September (when the Lay Clerks resume) will be said services. Sunday 26 July and Sunday 2 August services will be said with hymns.

Recently the Dean of Windsor dedicated and blessed two new bells at St Mary's, Sampford Spiney; a church linked with St George's since 1547.
