Two helms have been returned to St George's Chapel, having been cleaned and conserved by the Royal Collection armourer.
A jousting helm c.1475-1510 converted for garter and funerary use is situated in the South Quire Aisle near the tomb of Charles Brandon (Henry VIII's brother-in-law and friend from childhood).
A Garter helm painted c.1603 or later hangs in the South Quire Aisle near the tomb of Henry VI.
The sword of Edward III can be seen in the same area. For further information about the sword <click here>.
