Campaign Update, 4 December 2008

The campaign for the 21st century renewal of St George’s has progressed well. To date we have either received, or been promised just under half of our £35 million total.

There is no doubt that the current economic climate will affect the size of the sums raised in the immediate future. We cannot know how long the current situation will last. What is certain is that we will continue to work as hard as ever to raise funds, where appropriate and possible, for this project of renewal. We will also work to ensure that we meet our annual requirement, allowing the Dean and Canons and the College of St George to continue in its mission, serving our great nation, as it has done for over 650 years.
