Friends Events programme


Thursday 14 March:  Friends Tour of the Stall Plates.  Evensong followed by a talk and tour of the Stall Plates in the Quire. SOLD OUT

Sunday 12 May: Friends Afternoon.  Further details will be announced later in March.

Garter Day.  The Friends are running a ballot for Chapel and Grass area tickets and Members are invited to apply for a ticket.  The ballot runs from 15 January to 31 March 2024 and Members will be sent further information on 15 January.  Those who are successful in the ballot will be notified in May and will be offered the opportunity to apply for the Friends Garter Tea.


Friends Annual Review: A paper copy of the Annual Review is available to members, for a minimum charge of £5, payable on-line at    Please add ‘AR’ to the comments box so that we know the purpose of the donation

Alternatively, please send a cheque for minimum of £5, payable to ‘Friends of St Georges’ to: Friends Office, 8a The Cloisters, Windsor Castle, Windsor, Berks  SL4 1NJ.  Please include your address.  (We regret that we can no longer accept cheques in any currency other than UK £ sterling).


Please note: As St George’s Chapel is part of Windsor Castle, please be aware that on-site events may be subject to change due to Royal Events and external events, security and also may be affected by weather conditions.  These are beyond our control.

Friends Refunds Policy

If a Friends on-site Event is cancelled for reasons beyond our control your payment for the event tickets will be refunded (less any Eventbrite fees)

If you wish to cancel your ticket to a Friends on-site Event then please contact the Friends Office promptly.  If you cancel by 7 days before the event we will refund your payment (less any Eventbrite fees).  Tickets for Friends Events cannot be refunded if your attendance is cancelled later than 7 days in advance.


The Friends of St George’s is a registered charity (No 1118295) that exists to support the maintenance and care of the College of St George.  We include a small charge on each event, not only for administration, but, more importantly, in support of the College.
