FRIENDS EVENTS IN 2023:
Events for the Friends of St Georges in 2023 will be notified here soon.
Garter Day is likely to be Monday 19 June 2023. We do not know when an allocation of tickets for the Friends will be available, however we can confirm absolutely that there will not be a Friends Stand this year. We will of course update this page as soon as we have more information and will also email our members with the details. We appreciate your understanding in not contacting the Friends Office before we know more. Thank you.
Available on request: a recorded talk.
We know that many of our Members are unable to be here in person for Friends’ events and so we are delighted to offer a recorded talk, available on request to the Friends Office [email protected] This is a talk on the stained glass of the West and East Windows of St George’s Chapel, introduced by the Hon Sec to the Friends, Linda Aitken and given by the Chapter Clerk, Charlotte Manley.
Tickets: this talk will be available on purchase of a ticket, cost £5.80 (a £5 donation to St George’s and an 80p admin fee).
We hope that you enjoy the talk.
Please note: As St George’s Chapel is part of Windsor Castle, please be aware that on-site events may be subject to change due to Royal Events and external events, security and also may be affected by weather conditions. These are beyond our control.
