Bells for the Royal Baby

Bells for the Royal Baby

The bells of the Curfew Tower in Windsor Castle will ring out today in celebration of the birth of a son to The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.  They will be rung at 2pm (at the same time as gun salutes in Green Park and the Tower of London) and again this evening. The Curfew Tower forms part of the Castle wall to the west of St George’s Chapel.

The bells are rung on major Christian festivals and on Royal birthdays each year.
