Garter Day on Monday 17 June is the central day of the three day Solemnity of St George. St George’s Chapel will prepare for the various Services as follows:
Friday 14 June
Chapel closed to visitors but open to all for Services. However please note there is no 12 noon service.
Saturday 15 June
Chapel closed to visitors but open to all for Services.
Sunday 16 June
The first day of the Solemnity of St George. Chapel closed to visitors but open to all for Services. Mattins at 10.45am includes Renewal of Intentions; Evensong at 5.15pm includes a commemoration of King Edward IV.
Monday 17 June
Garter Day. Admission to the ticketed Service of Installation and Thanksgiving at 3pm is by invitation only.
Tuesday 18 June
The Garter Requiem is at 5.15pm and is open to all. The Chapel is open to paying visitors between 10am and 4pm.
