‘Knights in Training’ day

Knights in Training - College of St George

There will be a day full of activity on Saturday 2 September. By special permission of The Queen, the hub of this special family festival will be the Castle’s Quadrangle. Watch knights on horseback, enjoy a falconry display or get hands-on by jousting on a hobby horse, learning some sword skills or trying a helmet on for size. Additionally there will be live period music, craft demonstrations, storytelling, art and craft in the Moat garden. Once children have completed their ‘training’, they will be eligible for a dubbing ceremony in St George’s Chapel where some Military Knights of Windsor will explain their role.

Windsor Castle admission charges apply.
